November Visiting Teaching

Yes, I realize it is the LAST DAY OF THE MONTH, and quite honestly I wasn't able to get out and do my visiting until two days ago.  I absolutely hate putting things off and HATE to be late.  I guess it's just one of those things that just has to happen once in a while.
Anyhow, the month of November brings out an Ensign that is related to the Conference messages given in October.  I get so excited for these bi-annual issues because having a 5 year-old and a 2-year old at home makes for a difficult time of being able to actually listen well during these (4) 2-hour-long sessions.  It also gives us as sisters in the church the opportunity to pick our own message to share in our monthly Visiting Teaching.  I read through some of the talks and there were so many good ones to choose from!  It was hard for me to pick just one, but I ended up deciding on a message from President Deiter F. Uchtdorf.....Of Regrets and Resolutions.  I felt like it is a great reminder to us to always look at the positive things we have in our lives and count our blessings not our trials.
I also found an adorable handout from Lesle Berry over at the blog Visiting Teaching Ideas  that fit perfectly.

I just paired the handout with some home-made Sugar Cookie Bars frosted and sprinkled with some festive holiday sprinkles.
