Harvest Time

Don't you just love that time of the year when it's "harvest time"? 

I know I do.

I do have to admit however, that I did not grow these myself.  My wonderful neighbor was generous enough to share. 

My weekend is now going to consist of canning green beans and salsa; two things we go through almost as fast as sugar around here!

My great-grandmother has a yummy recipe for dilly beans that I will probably end up doing with some of the bean and my mom's recipe for salsa is divine!

It will be a busy weekend, and luckily we don't have much planned for the Labor Day holiday (other than canning now!).

I will make sure to share the recipes after I get them done and processed.
