I have had such a fun opportunity lately of getting to know some of the wonderful people over at YourLDSblog.com! With this opportunity came a chance for me to guest post for them on any topic of my choice. Well, most of my readers know that I have a love and passion for family, my LDS beliefs, and any type of hobby that includes craft time, cooking and sewing. Needless to say, it was a bit hard for me to narrow down my options of what to write. However I kept falling back on a sewing tutorial so I decided to run with it and came up with a fun little post on making what I call "Hot Mamma Hand Guards". They are super cute hot pads that look a lot more intimidating than what they really are. If you can sew a 1/4" seam, you can make these! So head on over to their site and check out my post. :)

I've told you before that I have a passion for music instilled in my heart! It's always had a way of speaking to me. I grew up with music in my life through not only going to church, but taking regular dance lessons since I was 5 years old, and having piano lessons since the age of 5 as well.

They are cute,but I use silicone gloves as they are the most heat resistant when taking items from a hot oven.

They are so cute!! When I have time I may have to try it! The only thing is I need a sewing machine! Good thing my ward has a sewing class once a month! :)
