For my Thoughtful Thursday post, today I wanted to share a cute little printable I found over at Mormon Mommy Blogs. This is to correlate with the October 2013 Visiting Teaching message and I just love the message behind it!
I know that some days we get hard on ourselves and think that we are never doing enough, or are not good enough, but this little reminder helps us to remember that we are special to our Father in Heaven! He created us and we are so special to him.....we are EVERYTHING to him. I know how my own children have a special place in my heart so that seems to be about the only thing I can compare to his love for us. And to make things even better, He loves us and knows that we are doing our best! We are constantly striving to be perfected just as Christ was, but our Father knows that as long as we are doing our best, it is all we can do! That's all he asks of us, for us to do our best!
I paired this cute little handout with a small baggie of Halloween-themed treats to hand out to the sisters we visit, and they loved it!! Simple but cute!
