Special Blankets.....

A couple of weekends ago I had the opportunity of attending my boss's daughter's baby shower.  A few weeks prior my boss had asked me if I would be willing to make a few blankets for her daughther's baby shower out of some fabric that had been in their family for a while.  I more than willingly accepted and a few days later she brought the fabric to work.  I went in search for some matching fabric and got to work.  This is what I cam up with.....

The soon-to-be mommy was more than happy with them.  She teared up when opening the gift and it made the hours spent working on them so much more than worth-while!

I have one more pieced quilt that I am working on made out of the blue fabric, but unfortunately wasn't able to finish it in time for the shower.  I will post a picture of it when it's completed......
