I'm taking a little break from quilting today to get some canning done. Apricots are in season and I was blessed with many this year! This yummy Apricot-Strawberry Jam has been my project for today.
The recipe is really EASY which is what I like!
Apricot-Strawberry Jam
8 cus ground apricots (washed, pitted and ground with skins on)
10 cups sugar
1/2 cup lemon juice
2 pkgs strawberries, cut up
Combine ingredients and boil in a very large heavy pot for 30-6 min.
(the longer it boils, the thicker your jam will be)
After it is boiled, stir in 2 lg pkgs of strawberry jello until dissolved.
Put in jars- size of your choice and Cold Pack for 10 min.
(I used pints and it made about 9 pints)
