Spring Wreath Board

Today  I want to share with you a fun little project that I recently completed.  I found the inspiration for it while searching for a craft to do for a "Girl's Night" craft project.  We ended up using it as one of our crafts that night, although none of us actually completed it during the "Girl's Night".
I'll warn you right now, it's a little bit time consuming, but all the same, really fun and so super cute!
I am totally smitten over this right now and just love the bright pop of color it adds to my family room!

I found the tutorial for this project over at The House of Smiths.
Check out her blog for the instructions on how to make the adorable crepe paper roses, and her version of this project.
I changed mine up a little and ended up using an 8" wreath form from Hobby Lobby, and cut the board to be 12"x15".   The "Spring" words, were just cut out of white vinyl using my Silhouette.  The finished dimensions for the words were 9 1/2" wide and 3 1/4" tall.
The best part about this project is that it is so versatile to make it your own!  I had some friends who painted their board mint, and used pink crepe paper.  Another painted their board orange and used aqua crepe paper.  I even had some girls there who were making their roses out of fabric!
It's such a fun little project and just what you need to get you out of that Spring Fever funk!
