6-Week Muffins

This recipe for 6-Week muffins is so good and easy.  We make it quite often and my little kiddos ask for them constantly!  Try them out and you will be hooked!


6-Week Muffins
5 cups flour
3 cups sugar
2 tsp salt
5 tsp soda
1- 15 oz box Raisin Bran
4 eggs
1 cup oil
1 quart buttermilk

Mix all ingredients together until well mixed.  Bake at 400 degrees for 20 min.  (18 min is perfect for my oven so watch them carefully).
These muffins are called 6-Week Muffins because the batter can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 6 weeks without spoiling.  If your family does not like raisins, you could just use regular bran cereal.
